Twilight...oh my...

Ya know... I never thought I would be one to get obsessed like this with a book. I have read the first three books in four days... I have gotten very little sleep these past few nights because I can't book the books down! I held off reading these books for years now, because I thought it would be something that didn't interest me at all, well, I was slightly ( ok a lot more then slightly) wrong.

I had seen New Moon and Eclipst at the drive in earlier this summer and I thought, ok, the movies were pretty good. I was also definately more enamoured with Jacob then with Edward from the movies. But now, after reading the first three books. I have to say that Edward is one hot freaking vampire! I understand fully how middle age women every where are totally lusting after his pale white self!

Please, tell me I am not alone!! :)

Really easy lace flower

I had mentioned last week that I was going to do another tutorial on how to make the lace flowers that I had made for my Your Paper Pantry flower swap! Well I was able to get around to doing that this morning. I have uploaded it to you tube and it is ready to go! I hope you guys will take a few minutes to watch it! (ok, it's nine minutes :)) Let me know if you have any questions about the flower and how to make it as well!

One other thing, a few posts ago I listed the Stampin' Up stamps that I have for sale... I still have them if anyone is interested in them! I really do need to sell these as I am using the money to pay for a portion of Haley's travel softball dues.

It's been a long few days...

The past few days there has been some drama going on with Haley's volleyball team... Gotta love drama NOT... It has made the days seem to drag on and on.. Tonight they play a local rival team and I hope they play well and get the job done.

I joined the Flower swap at Your Paper Pantry for September! If you haven't joined this group and you are a pretty serious scrapbooker/crafter/art journalist/atc maker/everything else under the sun, you really should! I have only been a member for a week or so and I have seen loads and loads of wonderful work and lots of inspiration! So anyway back to this flower swap... it's the first one I have ever done so I am a little nervous and I hope everyone likes my flowers.

I had alot of fun making them, but then again I always do when it comes to flowers. I don't know what it is about them but I could sit at my desk all day and work on them! The theme this month was Shabby Chic and for some reason the only color I could think of that worked well was pink.. of course now I know that pale blues/greens/yellows work well too. Oh well.. .I like pink too!
