A new card to share

I LOVE this digital image by Tiddlyinks! Wryn is so cute and with her little birdie friend I had to have the image! And---Use it right away!!

I have really fallen head over heals for making cards. It is such a huge surprise to me because I didn't think it would ever be something that grabbed at me like it does! I just love these little images to color and then putting the design together just really gets the creative juices flowing!

On the Image of Wryn I used my Marvy Uchida Le Plume Alcohol Markers and my Shinhan Touch Twin Markers! The image was printed on Gina K Pure Luxury Cardstock in pure white. I love this paper so much! I love how thick and smooth the finish is! I am going to order some of it in the Ivory color next!

 I used some pink and white bakers twine to tie around the card and then the sentiment was also part of the digital file. I used my Spun Sugar distress stain on the sentiment. I also added tattered Angels Glimmer Glam to sentiment! I wish you could see it in the photo! The papers on this card are Bazzill for the card base (in a pink shade) and the Pink Paislee Vintage Vogue collection that I just picked up recently from Blitsy!  I used a spellbinders die ( Classic Triple Scallop)  to die cut one of the patterned papers. Each of the papers has been distressed and inked with Antique Linen Distress ink. The image of Wryn has been fussy cut and also distressed with Antique Linen Distress ink!

The inside of the card continues with the Vintage Vogue by Pink Paislee and I have distressed and torn the edges of the paper. They are all inked with Antique Linen. Have I mentioned how much I love this ink! I have had it in my stash for sooo long and it wasn't until a few evenings ago when a friend asked me to describe the color that I really fell in love with it! It is a perfect shade of light brown (with a slight yellowish tint) I used another Spellbinders die ( Labels Eleven) for a nice place for a sentiment!

What's on Your WorkDesk Wednesday!

I missed last week because by the time I had a chance to photograph things and get a post together it was already Friday! haha! So, hopefully I can make up for it today by posting early (for me!).

This week I have been able to create a couple of things for the design team I am on, but not much else!

I hope to be able to do a few other projects this coming week and weekend! I am looking forward to creating some upcycled flowers for a LESSology challenge! (I just found out about LESSology yesterday! Thanks Linda!)

Here's whats on my desks right now... pretty disorganized but I was doing some work for the shop last night and I didn't clean up before calling it a night!

Valentines Day Card Pro31 Designs

Hi Everyone! I hope you are enjoying the end of your Monday! Mine was hectic and busy! Phew, glad it is almost over!

I created another card today and I am totally loving it! From the flowers to the digital stamp that I used, I have to say that there isn't one thing on this card that I don't love! I hope that you will feel the same!!

 I used a combination of Touch Twin markers by Shinhan and my Marvy Le Plume Alcohol markers to color the Tickled Pink digital Image! She is so cute! Her name is Valentines Cherrie Heart!

 This side view gives you an awesome perspective as to just how dimensional the flowers are from Pro31 Designs! On this card I have used the following flowers:

Pro 31 Designs DT project Altered Clipboard Using TC Posh

I am totally loving how just a few awesome embellishments and some gorgeous paper turned this thrifted clipboard into this spectacular home decor piece!

 I started off by painting the clipboard in a bright pink color everywhere. Even the metal portion. Once the base coat was dry. I proceeded to use PVA glue on the back and then covered that while it was still wet with a layer of Black acrylic paint! Love that crackle!!

I covered the metal portions of the clipboard with modpodge to protect it once the paint was dry. 

The paper collection that I used is Teresa Collins "Posh" Love this collection! So pretty with the pink and black!

I also added in some black lace from my stash!

Also, in the spray I used these super cute butterflies! I love these, so many uses for these! Think of how cute these would look as flower centers too. :)

I used the black and then pink Bling blingy mesh on this project! This stuff is so easy to cut! Scissors will even cut right through the bling, I love that!

At the top I have created this wonderful butterfly from the Large size acrylic butterflies that Esmeralda sells! I used some 28 gauge wire for it's flourish and antenna's and then some pink bling mesh for its body! This butterfly is the perfect size for everything! I think it would look awesome on the top of a stick pin!

Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday? Not much.

Hey guys! Not to much to show you this week. I did finish a card and did a video on it late last week. But I thought I would go ahead and show you guys here in case you don't follow me on youtube as well!

I love how it came out! It is the first colored card I have done! Took me a while to love it, but I can now say that I do :)

 C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie Hello - Digital Stamp from All that Scraps colored with Marvy LePlume Alcohol markers.

 This is the Handmade flower that I used, I created it from my Flower Friday tutorial this week! Also, I used the cover of the paper pad with all of the different patterned designs on it instead of cutting into a new 12x12 for just a few punches!

I added a flower center from Pro 31 Designs on Etsy. I love these flower centers so pretty! The paper collection is Echo Park Be Mine!

Now, I am taking part again this week in Whats on your Work Desk Wednesday, hosted by the lovely Julia!  one of my desks is clean and the other is well, lets just say.. Not clean :) haha!

Pro31 Designs DT project! Altered Mirror

This week I have altered an old Ikea mirror that I had in my stash! I love how it turned out! I used the new DCWV Tres Chic paper line! *Drool* I love it! Whats on your Work Desk, Wednesday?

Ahhh.. so the week after the holidays is here and I am in full organization and restart/refresh mode! My table is almost empty because I have been cleaning!  Video is forthcoming! Here are two pics, one on my normal work space and the second one is the new workspace that I created! Woohoo :D

Can't wait for the pace of life to slow down a bit!! How about you?

I am in the process of starting work on my next Pro31 Designs DT project! Right now I am spray painting inside ( gasp) lol got to get that tin covered!! I'm freezing because I have the ceiling fan on to disperse the fumes!!!
