Hey Everyone! I am so excited to tell you that I am trying out for Jinger Adam's Design Team. Jinger was Cricut's Spokesperson for many years but she is now stepping out on her own creating a new line of paper crafting products and a Shoe Line! Swooon! My two loves! Shoes and scrapbooking swag!
So, when I heard this, I just had to give it a go! My project is a shadowbox that I created from 3 silhouette die cuts! Have I mentioned lately how much I love my little buddy known as the SD. So much fun!
I just had to use one of my favorite all time paper lines in this creation. Webster's Pages Trendsetter. I love all the different colors and how they work together so well! Normally, as you all know I run more on the vintage and shabby chic side. This creation has a lot of distressing, some trims, gorgeous flowers and pearls. All things that go well with shabby chic and vintage, but this is definitely not either one of those styles! I do like how it came together and I love the yellow! It is one of my favorite colors this year for spring!

I used a bunch of Tim Holtz products on this project. His mini birdcage and bird die cut, memo pins, a corked vial, a word key and the adage tickets. I love the distressed look his products lend to my projects.
I always struggle to use stickers, but I am really trying harder to make some of them work for me. I chose to use these American Craft Thickers in yellow, then distressed them with vintage photo distress ink. The trim running around the outside of the trim is from Pro31 Designs. It is a gorgeous ivory/cream fancy trim. All of the fabulous flowers on my project are also from Esmeralda's shop at Pro31 Designs.I used Versamark and then smothered this adage ticket in clear UTEE. After heating with my heat tool, I repeated the embossing processes 3 times to get a really thick coat. Once it was dry I crinkled it up to crack the UTEE. This gives the tag a nice clear finish, but still ages it quite a bit!
The flat back pearls running along the trim on this project are also from Pro31 Designs. I use these on almost every project! It just seems they have a useful purpose in everything I do!
I used the Martha Stewart Doily punch to create flowers, inside the flowers are gorgeous pearl centers! The doilies are aged using Lindy Stamp Gang MoonShadow mist in Van Dyke Sepia. (one of my most favorite brown colors!)
And finally, one of my favorite elements of this project. I created this flower spray using mulberry paper flowers, acrylic flowers and leaves and a porcelain calla lily all from Esmeralda's shop. So Gorgeous!
I am so excited to be able to take part in this design team call. There are so many super talented crafters trying out, it will be amazing to be among them on this journey!
