Ah yes, a midwestern tradition, The Sadie Hawkins Dance. If you haven't heard of it, it is a girl ask the boy dance. Sometimes known as the TurnAbout dance. However, The Sadie Hawkins dance is very casual, the boy and the girl wear matching shirts. A turnabout dance is normally a formal.

I remember Sadie Hawkins dances when I was young. And those were the days when people didn't hang out, they dated; and girls didn't ever ask boys out. Gosh, I'm old!!!
