I am totally loving how just a few awesome embellishments and some gorgeous paper turned this thrifted clipboard into this spectacular home decor piece!
I started off by painting the clipboard in a bright pink color everywhere. Even the metal portion. Once the base coat was dry. I proceeded to use PVA glue on the back and then covered that while it was still wet with a layer of Black acrylic paint! Love that crackle!!
I covered the metal portions of the clipboard with modpodge to protect it once the paint was dry.
The paper collection that I used is Teresa Collins "Posh" Love this collection! So pretty with the pink and black!
I created the flower using the Rosette fabric from Pro31 Designs. You can find it here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/85980959/pink-2-tone-6x6-4-squares-fabric
I also added in some black lace from my stash!
I created these sprays using the Medium Fuchsia mulberry flowers! I love these! They are so versatile and the color is amazing! You can find them here : http://www.etsy.com/listing/83663782/fuschia-mulbery-paper-roses-flowers-80
Also, in the spray I used these super cute butterflies! I love these, so many uses for these! Think of how cute these would look as flower centers too. :)
I used the black and then pink Bling blingy mesh on this project! This stuff is so easy to cut! Scissors will even cut right through the bling, I love that!

At the top I have created this wonderful butterfly from the Large size acrylic butterflies that Esmeralda sells! I used some 28 gauge wire for it's flourish and antenna's and then some pink bling mesh for its body! This butterfly is the perfect size for everything! I think it would look awesome on the top of a stick pin!
