I will add a video below of how to shape this flower but wow, it is spectacular and easy too! Here is a list of supplies you will need.

  • pdf, svg or dxf file. (more on how to get that in a few)
  • either Fired Brick and Peeled Paint distress ink -OR- red and green cardstock in your favorite shades.
  • a paper piercer to curl and shape flowers
  • embossing tool and something to emboss on (I use an old mouse pad)
  • Glimmer
  • Pearl or something you like for the center!
Here is the Video on how to assemble the flower!

So, you want the file? Great, because I want to send it to you! Send me an email at walters1994@gmail.com and just tell me you would like the poinsettia file and then which file type you will need. Tea Dying Tutorial

Oooh you guys are going to love these Tea Dyed Tags!
Check out the finished product!
Let's get started on the Tutorial!
List of Supplies
Large Deep-ish baking (dish at least 2 inches deep)
4 cups of boiling water
10 tea bags
Vanilla (Optional--but smells so good!)

Ok--Here we go!

Step 1-- Place your tea bags in your baking dish, cover with Boiling water! Then, let those tea bags do their magic by steeping for about 15 minutes!
Step 2-- Once you achieve this amazingly lovely dark color! It's time to get busy! Put 5 or 6 tags into your solution to dye. I like to let my hang out in there for about 10 to 15 minutes!
Step 3--- After the mellowing time is up, take them out one by one and lay them on a towel to dry! Now, you have a choice, you can let them air dry, dry them with your heat gun, or throw those babies in the oven for about 5 minutes at 350 (keep a good eye on them though, we don't want burnt tags!)
Step 4--- Once they are dry stack them all up nice and pretty for a picture!
Step 5- How about one more for good measure! Side note-- do you like them wrinkly? that is easy to do too, just wrinkle them up in a ball and then unfold them and lay them in the solution. Then your nice little tags will become really distressed!

Step 6: Here they are in all their glory getting ready for a photo shoot!!

See how easy that was??? I definitely feel like you should do this today!

Ready for a video on the subject? I did that too! Check me out here at my YouTube Channel!

So, if you enjoyed this post, will you share it on your twitter for me? I would love you forever and ever! :)

I was excited because I had heard of their product but never had the chance to check it out for myself! So, of course I jumped at the chance to give this awesome digital scrapbooking software a try!

When I downloaded it I was surprised to find out just how much you can do with this product, not only can you use it for digital scrapbooking, but you can use it to design blog headers, buttons, and even do a bit of designing for your YouTube channel (more on that in a few days). If you take a look at my blog header, I designed that simple blog header in My Memories Suite in literally 10 minutes! It was so easy to do! It makes it simple to change up the look of your blog quickly so you never get tired of it!
