Tea Dying Tutorial

Oooh you guys are going to love these Tea Dyed Tags!
Check out the finished product!
Let's get started on the Tutorial!
List of Supplies
Large Deep-ish baking (dish at least 2 inches deep)
4 cups of boiling water
10 tea bags
Vanilla (Optional--but smells so good!)

Ok--Here we go!

Step 1-- Place your tea bags in your baking dish, cover with Boiling water! Then, let those tea bags do their magic by steeping for about 15 minutes!
Step 2-- Once you achieve this amazingly lovely dark color! It's time to get busy! Put 5 or 6 tags into your solution to dye. I like to let my hang out in there for about 10 to 15 minutes!
Step 3--- After the mellowing time is up, take them out one by one and lay them on a towel to dry! Now, you have a choice, you can let them air dry, dry them with your heat gun, or throw those babies in the oven for about 5 minutes at 350 (keep a good eye on them though, we don't want burnt tags!)
Step 4--- Once they are dry stack them all up nice and pretty for a picture!
Step 5- How about one more for good measure! Side note-- do you like them wrinkly? that is easy to do too, just wrinkle them up in a ball and then unfold them and lay them in the solution. Then your nice little tags will become really distressed!

Step 6: Here they are in all their glory getting ready for a photo shoot!!

See how easy that was??? I definitely feel like you should do this today!

Ready for a video on the subject? I did that too! Check me out here at my YouTube Channel!

So, if you enjoyed this post, will you share it on your twitter for me? I would love you forever and ever! :)
