Tutorial--How to make your own file folders

Hey Everyone! I thought I would post this on my blog as well as my youtube! I was asked to show a tutorial of how I created my file folders that I am selling with this Kit. So, lets get started!

Your first step will be to gather up the following items!

Next, you will need to cut down your paper to 5-1/2" wide.

Then, you will need to place your Tim Holtz on the edge File tab die on to your plate.

Now, here is the only complicated part of the entire process! You have to make sure that your paper is straight on your die. I have drawn a straight line in white pencil on my die to indicate the straight line. I line my paper up with that line and then place a small piece of scotch tape on it to hold it. Works like a charm everytime!

Roll your die through you cutting machine and Viola! You have just created yourself a file folder. Simply fold your paper accordingly and you are finished!!!

If you would like you can round all four corners on your new file folder!

Don't they look pretty all lined up and ready to use :)

These are the perfect size for mini albums, or altered art! So many different ways you can use them! I hope you give them a try!

If you would like to see a video tutorial on how I make these you can check me out here on my YouTube Channel
